Films capture everything.
To tell a story with the sights and the sounds of different environments, is magic on a screen.
Barbour Countrywear Men AW21
As part of my work with London Production company RD Content, I had the chance to edit for world famous fashion brand Barbour. The original brief was to edit the model footage to showcase the clothes but I thought this beautiful location deserved more. I decided to use sound design to boost the video’s effect on the senses and I think they liked it!
Montana Love
Work completed for Matchroom Boxing. I was tasked with editing footage shot in Ohio, USA to showcase Montana Love, demonstrating his rapid rise to success while also portraying a more human side to the boxing world that the fans don’t often get to see.
Velo Christmas Message
Shot and edited around London. For Christmas 2021, Marketing Agency ‘Velo’ wanted to take time to thank their clients and partners for a successful year and to demonstrate what made it so great!
Barbour Countrywear Women AW21
As part of my work with London Production company RD Content, I had the chance to edit for world famous fashion brand Barbour. This video says a lot on it’s own without needing anything fancy. I think the model’s movements and looks to camera really keeps the viewer engaged along with some fantastic cinematography in a great country location.
Champions of Europe.
For their first Champions League win in 14 years and to mark the real start of the Jürgen Klopp dynasty, Liverpool had a party… a big one! The parade was an unbelievable spectacle and this film captures the spirit of a city in total jubilation and shows the bond between supporters and club. June 2nd 2019.
We Are Nature.
A video completed for non-alcoholic spirit brand Seedlip. This was a project built from stock footage to demonstrate the impact of humanity on the environment. and help promote a more conscious form of consumption.
Create Your Summer.
It’s always a pleasure to work with Camp Canada. The 2020 Job Fair campaign was centred around the idea of creating your summer. This was represented in incredible fashion by former participant April Holmes who did a redesign of the traditional Camp Canada logo which included some classic and personal Canadian themes.
A Moment in History.
Coronavirus is undeniably a once in a generation event. So much so that I'm convinced it's the biggest global event since the war. Whether it's jobs, university or life in general (for me all 3) it's been pretty impactful. I decided to start collecting news clippings and photos of interesting/unusual things e.g empty shelves, signs in shop windows etc. It wasn’t long before I could see a video in it, so here is my artful contribution.
Sage x Forecast
As part of my continued work with Marketing agency Velo, I head up the production of success stories for international financial services brand Sage. This was us telling the Story of Forecast; an AI powered software company in the Financial, Resource and Project Management space. Their office was very nice!
Southbound.
Genuinely one of the best and most fun things I've ever done. 100 pages of photos, animations and anecdotes designed in full by my own fair hands and printed in the form of an A5 book. I have always wanted some form of physical representation of my work and this was a great opportunity to document a boss trip!
Ionian Adventure.
Paxos is a wonderfully scenic and photogenic little island. Small enough not to have been overrun by commercialism but enough going on to make it the perfect private getaway. This film was made in the summer of 2018 and perfectly captures the aura and intimacy of the the Greek islands.
TLC Lions Being Human Awards
3 Interviews to shoot inside an hour? What could possibly go wrong! Nothing, it would seen, because this video came out great. Shown on the big screen at TLC Lion’s Being Human Awards ceremony. There was originally supposed to be stock footage included but i thought it was more impactful without.
Food Waste Action Week.
The first collaboration with West Lancashire Borough Council. The idea behind this one was to help people understand the impact of food waste on the environment and to get them to think twice. The Birchwood Centre was a great case study for what can be achieved when a little bit of thought and effort is put in.
Skiing in the New Year.
Alpbach is a great place and skiing can never disappoint! This was also the first time I've ever been out of the country for New Year so it was a fun video to make. I love shooting skiing videos but to elevate them I do think I need a great skier in front of the camera… as well as behind it *wink wink*
“New Year, Same Me.”
Working with Smaller Earth always brings something new. This project was designed to put a spin on the old cliche of ‘New Year, New me’. The idea was to push people to recognise the adventurous side thats been in them all along, to continue to stick by their values, and embrace new challenges in the year 2020.
Spanish Expedition.
It can be difficult to see new ideas in familiar settings. This video was born from the idea of seeing fresh ideas. What can seem regulation to one person, can be on a whole new level to another. It is important to make sure all stories are told. Shot in Spring 2017.
Summer Camp Has Changed.
A joint venture with Camp Canada and Camp Leaders. This film looks at the history of summer camp across North America, how it has changed and the effect it has on people both during childhood and for the rest of their lives.
Curtis’ Story.
Working with Camp Leaders is go go go. Everything that comes with being the pioneers in the Summer Camp industry means projects have to be up to scratch. This particular film follows the Job Fair journey of Curtis, a prospective Camp Leaders participant, from new applicant to camp counsellor.
On the Volley.
When former Liverpool footballers come knocking, it’s not one to turn down. Kevin Stewart of Hull City started a YouTube channel in the Autumn of 2017 with big ambitions. Unfortunately, Squadrons didn’t hit the big time but some nice content was produced in the process. This particular video is a promo for an episode named ‘On the Volley’.
Your Summer of a Lifetime.
A video designed to excite and inspire. To showcase the full potential and adventurous possibilities that a summer in the United States has to offer.
Spieth’s Revival
This video is a low tech venture made alongside a cafe job at the 2017 Open Championship. Shot on an iPhone due to the security conscious nature of Majors golf, it was interesting to get a first look into current events filmmaking. Jordan Spieth’s incredible recovery on 13 didn’t quite make it, but the video encompasses the atmosphere and excitement beautifully.
